Implementation of Simualtions of Analog, Digital & Mixed Signal Integrated Circuits Using Pspice

چکیده
One of the most important tasks in design and manufacturing of integrated circuits is the testing phase. Distinguishing between faulty and fault free ICs is a difficult task Therefore, simulations are being done for different circuits to identify fault free and faulty circuits. The circuits include analog circuits, digital circuits &mixed signal circuits. Analog circuits like Low pass filter, High pass filter, Band pass filter, Band reject filter, State variable filter, Tow Thomas Biquadratic filter etc. The parameters measured are the variations in node voltages & DC supply current. Digital circuits like half adder, full adder, half subtractor, full subtractor, gates like AND,OR,NAND,NOR,XOR etc. The fault free and Faulty Data for digital circuits are obtained with the help of Fault Truth Table(FTT).Mixed signal circuits like Linear integrator modulator, Manchester bipolar code, Anti-aliasing filter etc.

The mixed-signal circuits with both analog and digital blocks on a single chip have wide applications in communication and RF circuits. Integrating these two blocks can cause serious problems especially in applications requiring fast digital circuits and high performance analog blocks. Fast switching in digital blocks generates a noise which can be introduced to analog circuits by the common su...

ID#413 – Author: Sreeram Rajagopalan 2 1. ABSTRACT PSpice A/D is a simulation package that is used to analyze and predict the performance of analog and mixed signal circuits. It is very popular especially among Printed Circuit Board (PCB) engineers to verify board level designs. However, PSpice A/D currently lacks the ability to simulate analog components connected to digital circuits that are ...

The rapid scaling in modern CMOS technology has motivated the researchers to design new analog-to-digital converter (ADC) architectures that can properly work in lower supply voltage. An exchanging the data quantization procedure from the amplitude to the time domain, can be a promising alternative well adapt with the technology scaling. This paper is going to review the recent development in t...
متن کاملVHDL Based Simulation of a Sigma-Delta A/D Converter
The VHDL based mixed-signal event-driven (MixED) simulation method [1] has been shown to allow for effective mixed-signal simulation in a number of useful applications. The range of possible applications is smaller than that of tools such as VHDL-AMS [2,3] or PSpice-AD [4]. However, a number of useful mixed-signal circuits have already been successfully simulated, e.g. an analog inverter with o...
